Up Polytechnic Counselling 2023 Full Process By Raceva Academy
- Online Registration:
- Visit the official JEECUP website (http://jeecup.nic.in/).
- Look for the counseling registration link.
- Fill out the registration form with accurate personal and academic details.
- Pay the counseling registration fee online, if applicable.
- Choice Filling and Locking:
- After successful registration, you’ll need to fill in your choices of colleges and courses based on your JEECUP rank.
- You can typically choose multiple colleges and courses in order of preference.
- It’s important to carefully choose and prioritize your options because this will determine your seat allocation.
- Document Verification:
- You will be required to visit a designated counseling center with all necessary documents for verification.
- Carry original documents and photocopies of important certificates such as your JEECUP admit card, rank card, 10th and 12th mark sheets, category certificate (if applicable), etc.
- After verification, you’ll receive a receipt or acknowledgment.
- Seat Allotment:
- Based on your JEECUP rank and the choices you’ve filled, seat allotment will be done.
- You can check the seat allotment result online on the JEECUP website.
- If you are satisfied with the allotted seat, you may proceed to the next step. Otherwise, you can choose to float, slide, or freeze your seat as per your preference.
- Confirmation of Seat:
- After seat allotment, you will need to confirm your seat by paying the requisite seat acceptance fee.
- If you don’t confirm your seat within the specified time frame, it may be allotted to another candidate.
- Reporting to Allotted Institute:
- Once your seat is confirmed, you will need to report to the allotted institute on the specified date and time.
- Carry all original documents for further verification at the institute.
- Payment of Tuition Fee:
- Pay the tuition fee at the institute as per the fee structure and guidelines.
- Commencement of Classes:

- Upgradation (Optional): If you’re not satisfied with the allocated seat, you might have the option to participate in subsequent rounds of counseling for a chance to upgrade to a higher preferred choice.
- Subsequent Rounds: If there are multiple rounds of counseling, they will follow a similar procedure of choice filling, seat allotment, and confirmation.
- Spot Counseling (if applicable): In some cases, there might be a spot counseling round for vacant seats after all regular rounds are completed.
- After completing all the above steps, you can start attending classes at your allotted institute.
